About Rem-Net Ministries
A Georgia non-profit since 2001. Our purpose is to network God’s Remnant together to fulfill the Great Commission.
For many years Rem-Net Ministries primarily focused on helping others who were in jail, homeless, and in need of substance abuse and recovery counseling. Rem-Net is now shifting gears to focus on using archery as a means to share the Gospel and as a discipleship tool.
Many years ago God burdened the heart of Chaplain Barry Singer regarding the need for a ministry that would bring Christians together in order to better reach the world for Jesus Christ and fulfill the Great Commission.
Our purpose is to network God’s Remnant together to fulfill the Great Commission.
Our mission is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ using archery, and to assist churches and other organizations to evangelize, using archery, through training and access to archery equipment.
Our strategy is to partner with churches, pastors and Christian groups to accomplish our vision and mission.
WHAT GUIDES USOUR VALUES
- Christ-Centered — everything we do points back to Jesus.
- Relational — archery gets us alongside people long enough to build trust.
- Accountable Servant Leaders — we answer for how we use what we are given.
- Systematic — training, equipment and follow-up, not one-off events.
CALLING, HISTORY AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Since that first class in February 2023 we have trained 161 coaches, from 71 schools, churches and JROTC units across Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Florida. Each one can now run a program where they are — which reaches far more children than we could ever stand in front of ourselves.
Counted from our own training records, 25 February 2023 to date. The organisation count is conservative: coaches whose school or church we never recorded are left out of it.WHO WE AREBOARD OF DIRECTORS
We are also advised by three men from outside the board — meet the Advisory Council. How we are governed and funded is set out on Financial Accountability.
OUR PARTNERS
Rem-Net Ministries works in partnership with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Centershot Ministries, Centershot BLUE, The King’s Academy and the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP).
These are partnerships and nothing more. Rem-Net Ministries is a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit, and each organisation below owns its own name, logo and trademarks.
